About us
Our B&B is situated in a government-listed building, dating from 1750, in the very heart of the historic city centre.
Dordrecht is the oldest city in Holland with a history that goes back to the year 1220. It is the main city on an island surrounded by three rivers. Hundreds of listed buildings, streets with centuries of history and many shops that offer both modern and antique items. Â
You will have the opportunity to wander around the city centre for hours, making stopovers in restaurants and at terraces the owners of which have got all kinds of nationalities and serve you their traditional dishes.Â
We welcome our guests: whether they be business people looking for some peace and quiet, people on holiday or visiting our city’s events or wedding guests (City Hall and Grote Kerk are quite close): we offer the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful area without a care. Â
Since we are in an old building, the accommodation is not suitable for the disabled or for persons dependent on a wheel chair. The rooms are on the second floor, so walking the steps will be one of the physical activities during your stay with us.

Period room
Between 07.00h and 09.30h you can enjoy your first meal of the day in our pride and joy the Breakfast room on the ground floor.
The full breakfast is continental, but we are also quite willing to prepare a traditional English breakfast at a small extra charge. This is certainly recommended if you go on a brisk walking or cycling tour!
As we offer B&B facilities we may not do any lunches or dinners, but the city centre of Dordrecht features a wide selection of restaurants from a great variety of nationalities within walking distance. You will definitely find something to your liking.
We offer a double room and a single one, which is an ideal setting for a small family.

We kindly request payment in advance. (A minimum of 7 days). Cancellation of your booking is free of charge until 24 hours before your planned visit. For later cancellations we charge 50% of the cost.
There is free WiFi in both rooms. Streaming via your laptop, maintaining your business contacts: no problem.
We are a smoke-free accommodation so we greatly appreciate it if you refrain from smoking in the building or on the balcony. Unfortunately, we cannot accept your animals, due to the age of the building.
We gladly welcome international guests, and we can communicate with them in a number of languages. English is no problem whatsoever. We also speak and understand some German, Spanish, Italian and French.
